Crystal Bush Receives 2024 Executive Excellence Honor From Utah Business

(SALT LAKE CITY, UT – June 24, 2024) Utah Business Magazine has named Crystal Bush, Chief Financial Officer at Tanner LLC, as a 2024 Executive Excellence honoree.  The award honors Utah business executives for strategic vision, resilient leadership, and profound influence in the state of Utah.

According to the magazine, developing the strategies behind company success in an ever-changing world is no small task, but dedicated executives, like Crystal Bush, are shaping Utah’s business future with reliability and ingenuity.

Crystal assumed her role as CFO in early 2023 and is responsible for managing the Firm’s finances, assessing financial risks and strategic opportunities, developing analytics and forecasts to achieve growth, and leveraging technology to drive valuable insights for the firm and its clients.

She has eleven years of finance and accounting experience and has served as an Assurance Manager at Tanner since 2020.  Previously, she was an accountant with Genesys Telecommunication Laboratories and Western Governors University. A graduate of Weber State University with a Masters in Accounting, Bush is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is a member of Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants (UACPA) and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Regarding which future endeavor she is looking forward to, Crystal commented: “Technology and innovation are completely changing how we work and do business. As a self-diagnosed technology and process improvement enthusiast, I’m eager to see the exponential gains from recent technological advancements such as artificial intelligence. I would love to look back 20 years from now and laugh at what we thought we knew.”
