About Kathryn
Kathryn brings a strong track record of audit expertise shaped by more than a decade of serving both privately held and SEC-reporting companies. With a background spanning mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, stock options, and consolidations, she works closely with companies navigating complex growth and transaction environments. Her industry experience includes technology/SaaS, manufacturing, logistics, retail, and consumer products—giving her a broad view of evolving business models and financial reporting needs.
Kathryn also leads Tanner’s work with employee benefit plan audits, offering specialized insight into regulatory compliance and plan operations across a wide range of company sizes and sectors. She is valued for her practical approach and ability to collaborate with clients and their teams in delivering accurate, efficient audits.
She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Utah State University and is a licensed CPA. Kathryn is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants. She contributes to the MountainWest Capital Network through its Deal Flow and Emerging Elite committees. She is also an industry board member of the Women’s Tech Council.
When she’s not working, Kathryn enjoys traveling, interior design, and spending time with her family.
