With 25 years in public accounting, Scott Robinson brings a steady, solutions-oriented approach to audit and advisory work. He partners closely with CFOs and finance leaders to tackle technical accounting challenges and guide strategic business moves. Whether he’s working with a growing private company or a publicly traded enterprise, Scott is known for being direct, dependable, and deeply invested in his clients’ success.
His experience spans a wide range of industries—including SaaS, healthcare, retail, professional services, construction, manufacturing, distribution, and transportation. Clients lean on his expertise in mergers and acquisitions, revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, and capital transactions, including debt and equity financings. He also frequently advises on public company reporting, international operations, and business reorganizations.
Scott began his career with a national accounting firm in Salt Lake City before joining Tanner. He holds a Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants.
