About Grady
Grady helps create value for public and private companies by strengthening the integrity of their financial reporting and supporting sound business decisions. With over 20 years as a CPA and a decade at a Big 4 firm prior to joining Tanner, he brings deep technical expertise and practical perspective to every engagement.
He has significant experience serving companies in software, SaaS, technology, manufacturing, financial services, and consumer products, many of which are backed by private equity or venture capital. Grady works closely with CFOs, controllers, and finance leaders to address complex issues such as revenue recognition, capital transactions, and regulatory compliance. He has advised clients through IPO readiness and SEC filings and brings hands-on knowledge of audits for FDIC-insured banks, investment funds, and employee benefit plans.
Known for his steady leadership and responsiveness, Grady helps teams streamline audits, build confidence in their numbers, and prepare for key milestones including funding, exits, and growth inflection points.
He holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Accounting from the University of Utah and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants. Grady also serves as Executive Committee member and Treasurer of Race Swami, a nonprofit organization. Outside of work, he coaches in the Southern Davis Youth Girls Lacrosse program.
