About Skylar
Skylar Combe serves as a senior leader within Tanner’s IT Assurance and Advisory practice, bringing over nine years of public accounting and IT assurance experience. He works with clients across a broad range of industries, including technology, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, data centers, and artificial intelligence. Skylar specializes in SOC 1, SOC 2, HITRUST, and IT general control (ITGC) assessments, helping organizations manage risk and meet complex compliance requirements.
Skylar holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Weber State University, along with a graduate certificate in information assurance. He holds the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), HITRUST Certified Practitioner (CCSFP), and HITRUST Certified Quality Professional (CHQP) certifications. Skylar is an active member of the AICPA, UACPA, and ISACA, where he serves as President of the ISACA Utah Chapter, representing a community of over 600 members, and has served on the Chapter’s Board of Directors for more than four years.
